Sin separates us
All people fall short of God’s character. Our independence from God creates a separation that good intentions alone cannot repair.
Jesus makes a way
Jesus Christ died and rose again so that forgiveness and a restored relationship with God can be received by grace through faith.
First, God created you for relationship with Him and loves you. Many people sense that life should have meaning, yet still feel spiritually distant, restless, or unsure of where they stand with God.
Second, the Bible describes the human problem as sin. Sin includes the actions, attitudes, and self-directed choices that reject God’s rightful place. It affects every person and creates spiritual separation from God.
Third, Jesus Christ is God’s provision for that separation. Christians believe Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers forgiveness and new life. The bridge back to God is not religious performance. It is Jesus.
Fourth, each person must respond. Receiving Christ means turning toward God, trusting what Jesus has done, accepting forgiveness, and inviting Him to lead your life. Faith is not pretending to have no questions. It is placing your trust in Jesus based on God’s promise.
