“When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor, sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Mark 2:17 (NLT)
Growing up on an Indian reservation, Renee was taught that her identity rested in the Zuni religion.
So she regularly participated in the ceremonies and rituals.
But even at a young age Renee had questions.
She attended a Christian high school, yet that increased her confusion.
Could she follow Jesus and keep her Native American identity?
Her high school counselor reminded Renee that God wanted a personal relationship with her.
Eventually Renee prayed to invite Jesus into her heart.
She finally understood that Jesus is the Creator she sought!
Renee said, “God desires for all tribes, tongues and nations to know Him and to glorify Him. To worship the Creator instead of the created. To come to Him with their hearts.”
Renee is right! Friend, seek Jesus. He is the answer for all nations!
