God has the right vision — he has seen the homeland. He has the right directions — he has cut the path.
It was with a heavy heart that I sat down for my daily hour of meditation and prayer. “Lord, I need added faith this morning” I prayed.
The names given to Jesus tell a great deal about His ministry on earth 2,000 years ago. The scriptural names describing Him reveal who He was and is and will be for eternity.
God's Plan for humanity....it was crafted in the halls of heaven and carried out on the plains of earth. Only holiness could have imagined it.
God is with us now, not just in thought or in theory or in wishful thinking. But in actual fact.
If prayer is truly a conversation, then we should listen for His response instead of doing all the talking.
Jesus is always with us, even at our weakest and loneliest moments, reassuring us that “he will never leave us or forsake us.”
Take a risk. Believe in God. He will do what he has said he will do.
God is committed to his people. He loves justice, and those who pursue it. He will not forget his people.
What map are you using for your life journey? Is it an old map that seems to be putting you in difficult, even dangerous situations? Is it time for a new map?
EVERYTHING: God is vast and real! There is nothing and no one that escapes His knowledge. God is present! You are never alone even in the midst of deep challenge.
The battle we face is not a physical one. Instead, it is a spiritual battle with powers that we do not easily see and which are very powerful.
As I have gone through a very stressful time I have found myself “socially distancing” from God in my grief and concern.
We know…There are so many things we do not know. We do not know if the economy will dip or if our team will win. We do not know what our spouse is thinking…
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Galatians 6:9
If we are going to be true children of our Father, his values must become our own, his lost sheep must become our quest.
Bring Him your grief and pain as often as you need to and receive His crown of beauty and oil of gladness.
Where is your place of refuge? Are you disturbed by the challenges in your daily life or by the uncertainties in the world we live in today?
