Lupe’s alcohol abuse was destroying her life, and the lives of her four children.
First, she lost her job, then all her belongings, stored in a rental unit, were auctioned off.
Her despair was compounded when she discovered she was pregnant.
Travelling on a bus with her children, she saw a sign: “Video game tournament and FREE FOOD.”
Hunger outweighed her shame and she coaxed her family towards the Salvation Army’s open door.
Lupe and her children began attending worship service every Sunday.
Shortly after, when the invitation was given, Lupe invited Christ into her life.
She said, “The more I give my problems to Christ, the lighter I feel.”
Friend, like Lupe, you too can find new life in Christ.
