This is for anyone feeling lonely or emotional pain;
Read Psalm 25:16-17.
16. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
17. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.
There are many types of loneliness and despair. It’s a human emotion and a very real problem faced by all ages and all walks of life. While it is a very powerful force to deal with, it can be managed and the good news is; this problem is NEVER bigger than God.
Jeremiah 33:3. Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
There is no problem you can face that is too big for you to overcome by the presence of Christ, for He is stronger than all of them; He is the antidote to discouragement and fear. Draw upon his power.
Jeremiah 33:27. I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Not only is Lord bigger than your problems, most of our loneliness and despair comes from fear, and God HAS NOT given us fear;
2 Timothy 1:7. For God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.
The Lord has given you a spirit of power and love to conquer all things; He also gave you a sound mind and the self-control to not let fear control you, but to focus on Him for all your needs. And He hears your every prayer. He even hears and acts on the things you don’t know how to ask Him;
Ephesians 3:20-21.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
By focusing on the above verses as your antidote to loneliness or despair, you can better TRUST The Lord to do exactly as He says;
Isaiah 41:10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Psalm 18:32. It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
And remember; you didn’t chose The Lord. He chose you; and He chose you not to be in despair, but to be fruitful and full of joy;
John 15:16. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
The Lord wants HIS joy to be in you at ALL times! And in turn He wants YOUR joy to be full!
John 15:11. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
Take your loneliness, despair or grief to Jesus!
God Bless!
