When does communication become gossip? According to the dictionary it is when casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details, are not confirmed as being true.
According to scripture it is fuel that feeds strife and affect people to their innermost parts. Proverbs. 26:21,22
Let’s exercise wisdom as we talk about others.
My prayer for us this week
“Heavenly father help us not to be gossips for just as without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down. As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome person for kindling strife. The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts. In Jesus name amen.” Proverbs 26:20-22
Have a great week
